Another Day Another Duck

Had an hour at 11 this morning, so after a look over a quiet Seaton Marshes, and a look over Bridge Marsh where 20+ Snipe and the Egyptian Goose were on show, I went to Lower Bruckland Ponds.

The pair of Tufted Ducks were still present, and have attracted another diving friend...

A female Pochard - yet another year tick!

So far this year has been awesome for wildfowl. With Phil's Pintail and Bun's Goldeneye there isn't much left to be seen in the Duck department....maybe a Scaup or Smew???? It's odd how last year's weeks of cold weather failed to produce much, but for some reason now it is REALLY doing the trick!

Let's hope it continues....
